Almost every day, we receive warm, wonderful letters of thanks from former patients, their families, and friends. We thank them for taking the time to praise the excellent care they received, for telling us about their recovery and for sharing their “St. Thomas Hospital Experience” with us, which we in turn share with you here.
“I wish the world could know the wonderful things that are happening on the fourth floor of St. Thomas Hospital (and other floors too!) In the middle of our personal crisis, we met such wonderful people – people who were where they should be, doing what they do best – caring for people who have had an injury. I pray each day for all of you and thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
Racky Henderson
“Words cannot describe our gratitude to your phenomenal staff for exceeding any expectations we had from her (our mom’s) recovery. The team on 2B is as responsive as they are professional, trying to fulfill every request… It feels like we are at a 5 star hotel rather than a hospital… I consult to other hospitals in my work and know a phenomenal one from a good one from a poor one and you are the BEST.” – L.I.

“From aides to therapists and nurses, every member of the St. Thomas Hospital staff worked together for the benefit of all patients, and our family was filled with gratitude that our father had the opportunity to be there…We as a family will be forever grateful for the memories you helped create, for the strength and fortitude you provided, and for the commitment and dedication to our father and his treatment. Thank you so much for making such an enormous difference in his life and in each of ours.”
Mark Huff
“You have a difficult job, but a rewarding one. I hope that I have been able in some small way to express what an important task you have in restoring health and mobility to grateful people like me, who come under your care for a brief time and find the rest of their lives improved because of it.”
Rodel Golez
“The collegial atmosphere was apparent, the collaborative environment was infectious, and the team as a whole was genuinely interested and concerned for my recovery. In a word, simply stated, they were awesome."
